BREAKING NEWS. The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) has recommended ECQ (enhanced community quarantine) status for Cebu City from June 16 to 30, 2020, noting the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the city. President Rodrigo Duterte approved the recommendation past midnight Monday, June 15, 2020.
The IATF also placed Cebu Province, as well as Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City under general community quarantine (GCQ), while Talisay City was placed under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
